Shereen El Domeiri joined the City Attorney's Office in March 2005. She is a member of the General Litigation Section and represents the City in civil litigation matters. Ms. El Domeiri's practice focuses on bankruptcy and hotel and rental car tax collection matters. In addition, she handles permit and licensing appeal board hearings, primarily relating to dancehall permits.
Before joining the General Litigation section, Ms. El Domeiri was a member of the Prosecution Division and represented the State of Texas in the Dallas Municipal Courts prosecuting Class C misdemeanors, traffic offenses, and Dallas City Code violations.

Prior Experience
- Prior to joining the City Attorney's office Ms. El Domeiri worked as an associate attorney representing clients in consumer bankruptcy cases and related consumer rights litigation in the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. She also worked as a briefing attorney for the Law Offices of Windle Turley and as a Legal Line Attorney for Legal Aid of Northwest Texas.
