Meredith joined the Dallas City Attorney's office in 2003 and began her career with the City of Dallas in the Community Prosecution Division. She served as the Community Prosecutor for Old East Dallas. While in Old East Dallas, Meredith was successful in utilizing proactive enforcement methods to combat quality of life problems that plague the community. After over two years as the Old East Dallas Community Prosecutor, Meredith moved to the General Counsel Division to focus on real estate matters affecting the City of Dallas. She provided legal advice to and negotiation and document drafting for various City departments in property acquisitions and dispositions. After nearly two years in general counsel, Meredith moved to the Prosecution Section as the Assistant Chief.
