Charles M. Bierfeld joined the Dallas City Attorney's Office in 1970, assigned to the real estate and contracts division. From 1974 until 1981, he served as Legal Counsel to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Board. From 1981 until 1992, he served as the Senior Assistant City Attorney in charge of the Contracts, Real Property, Advisory, and Zoning Division, supervising 14 staff attorneys. From September 1992 until July 1996, he served as the First Assistant City Attorney under Sam A. Lindsay, City Attorney. His current practice focuses on special projects assigned by City Attorney Tom Perkins.
