Amy joined the Dallas City Attorney's Office in April 2006. Her practice focuses on previously incarceration people and their return to the City of Dallas. She uses creative legal strategies to reducing crimes by assisting these citizens in making a successful transition. The major goals are to build meaningful partnerships, to proactively and creatively solve reentry-based problems; and to monitor the progress of the participants in the Anti-Gang Reentry Court Docket.
